The profile picture is a good start. My version of a blog prologue. Heated tent. Circus tent. Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Me, clinging to bottled water. Water waiting in ice for me, party time! Party time is after the 3rd posture of the Bikram Yoga 26 posture 2 breathing exercise Hatha Yoga practice, 90 minute meditation. I can feel again and again the intensity of that moment. The sweat, steam, heat...the heat! To be that alive in a room of 350+ soon-to-be Bikram Yoga teachers and being tortured for the love of yoga...*insert sweet sigh*. I remember thinking over and over in my most exhausted moments during my 9 week training that I would joyfully do this for 9 months. Its Bengal Tiger strength, English Bulldog determination, will power. My training was perfect. It gave me tools and a toolbox and a sense of limitless possibilites. This picture portrays me in a light that glimpses on my true self that makes me so very proud to be YogiV. I identify with yoga...yoga is everything and everywhere and everyone.
This picture also speaks loudly to my OCD for water. My love affair with water began at a very early age, but that I will touch on, another time. Hi, my name is...and I'm addicted to water is not ready to take the mic and share. To close, the profile picture is just a flash of the bigger picture...the perfect start to this blog...I begin with yoga so of course this blog begins with yoga.
