What do you make of this? According to Wikipedia, "Gnosis (from one of the Greek words forknowledge‚) is the spiritual knowledge of a saint, or mystically enlightened human being". So my question is, what's with the archetypal devil outfit? Maybe there's a historical context to his getup that I am missing? I was too intimidated to ask.
