Just $18 for a wine tasting of Alma Sol wines with the proprietors, appetizers by Chuck's Waterfront and exclusive entrance to the Maritime Museum.
Alma Sol is a family-owned, boutique winery that sources premium fruit from top California vineyards, like Halter Ranch in Paso Robles. Each one of the six wines they released this year garnered medals or high scores, including a gold medal at the Monterey Wine Competition for their 2010 Cuatro Caminos Proprietary Red and 90 points from Wine Enthusiast for their 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Located on the edge of our beautiful harbor, Santa Barbara Maritime Museum opened its doors July 2000 to preserve and celebrate the maritime heritage of the California Coast and present it to the public in an interesting and exciting way. Its collection of artifacts exhibit the vast interplay of human activity, from the mainland throughout the channel and the Channel Islands. Artifacts and exhibits include a Chumash tomol, Purisma diving bell, a periscope through which visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view of the harbor, Point Conception Lighthouse Lens, and much more.
