Santa Barbara, CA (September 10, 2013) — The Santa Barbara Culinary Arts announces a fund-raising wine tasting, featuring wines from the Foley Food & Wine Society portfolio. Held in multiple locations around the Bacara Resort & Spa, including the ballroom and Foley Food & Wine Society tasting room, this event will feature specially selected wines from the Foley portfolio, many rarely available outside the wineries and a one-time opportunity to taste wines in one place from Chalk Hill, Altvs, Foley Estates, Three Rivers, Lincourt and many more.
Saturday, September 28th 3-6 pm, at the Bacara Resort & Spa.
Food pairings will be prepared by:
- The culinary students and Chef Stephane Rapp of the School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management at SBCC
- SBCA member and owner of Dining With Di Diana Cuttrell
- Miró Restaurant‘s Chef de Cuisine Johan Denizot
- The Bistro's Chef de Cuisine Chris Turano, who was recently featured on the Food Network's program Chef Wanted
Net proceeds will benefit the non-profit Santa Barbara Culinary Arts which endows the Santa Barbara Culinary Arts Scholarship in Honor of Julia Child.
