culture of protest: troubadours I've met over 30 years part II
Posted by rflacks on:
This week--we continue to mine the Culture of Protest archive for the sounds of political troubadours who I've had the pleasure and honor to meet, interview, and broadcast. These include many talented folk who've made many terrific songs and sounds, including quite a few one time UCSB students and other Santa Barbarians. I like this way of observing the 30th anniversary of the radio show--and hope you will too.
And...Huffington Post today features a piece Peter Dreier and I wrote some years ago., revised for July 4, 2012 on how progressives have historically been the leading creators of American patriotism. It will surprise you!
