tonight's program features music commemorating the Warsaw ghetto uprising (April 21, 1943)--songs of the Jewish partisans of world war II and songs that reflect on that experience. This week also marks the 15th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, and we'll have songs that reflect on that experience. In passing, acknowledgement of the 112th anniversary of Paul Robeson's birth (we'll hear his performance of the great resistance song of concentration camp inmates) and we'll mark the 100th birthday of Norman Corwin, the foremost creator and producer of radio drama as an artform. His prayer broadcast on V-E day remains a deep expression of hope.
