SANTA BARBARA, CA – August 24, 2011 The City of Santa Barbara must close a portion of Anacapa Street adjacent to the Central Library because of work being completed on the Library roof.

The following is a list of all closures: 

• Anacapa Street, between Anapamu and Figueroa Streets       
               
–Monday, August 29; 4:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

–Monday, September 12; 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. 

• Entrance to Library Garage (parking lot #7) on Anacapa Street 

–Wednesday, August 24; 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

–Saturday, August 27; 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

–Tuesday, September 6; 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

–Friday, September 9; 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  

The entrance to parking lot #7 will remain open on Figueroa Street during the street closure. The exit lane from lot #7 will remain open to Anacapa Street, and traffic will be re-routed to Figueroa Street. 

The Faulkner Gallery will also be closed to the public between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on September 6, 2011 and September 9, 2011.
