This Man Wants to Pry Your Staples

For $9.50/hour, this guy is prying all the staples off the UCSB kiosks. And he's getting after it, too, working at no less than a $12/hour clip and out in the sun. We talked kiosk strategy, and when I showed him my secret spot he said, "Yeah, this area took a really long time."
The kiosks had needed a good staple removal for a while now; I applaud homeboy for taking this honorable and necessary job. The last guy I saw doing this did it for ages. He was missing a hand and used a flathead screwdriver.
Prying staples isn't as cool as counting planes on the library roof, but it's pretty cool.
