Mexicans Leaving Santa Barbara
Posted by paulrivas on:
Between competing offers for rides to all parts of the United States, this “THINGS FOR SALE” flier offers a chest of drawers with five drawers, computer table with black leather chair, two five-gallon water jugs, table, three bicycles one men’s one women’s and another for kids ages 10 and up, and a queen mattress.
This appears to be a family of three leaving town, possibly to one of the destinations advertised on the adjacent fliers. There are two spelling errors, the capitalization isn’t regulation and there are two accent marks missing. It’s possible that the family slept on a single mattress in a shared room, but there’s no doubt that their table was the least remarkable table ever made.
How much for a used plastic jug? How much for two?
And which raite would they have gone for: the one with the impossible Mexican apostrophe, or the one keen to ship border brothers back east?

I actually found two accent marks missing and Gallones is misspelled other than that is great, I might be interested in the "Cajonera de 5 cajones" =)

Yes, Patty! There are indeed two accents missing and GALLONES should have a single L. And MUJER is spelled wrong, too. I've made these corrections, but want the world to know that it was you who spotted this laziness on my part.
