ABOUT: Take an artistic journey of original work by Picasso, Modigliani, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, & Renoir with hosts James and Stevenett. See unknown portraits of Max Jacob, Marie Laurencin, Apollinaire, Dufy, Picasso and many other historic masters through the eyes and works of their secret muse, American born Gaston Longchamp.
Longchamp, at age four, was hiding under the Parisian society café tables in the early 1900’s, listening to the conversations of poets, artists and anarchists, smelling the perfume of the great Sarah Bernhardt & Suzanne Valadon, and at age seven cleaning Renoir’s brushes and later hanging out with the Picasso “bande” at the Bateau Lavoir. Original works exhibited, including historic & intimate illustrated letters, articles and photographs including one letter from the hand of Leonardo da Vinci. This is a one-time exhibition lasting only three days.
