ABOUT: Engage in an intensive, hands-on fermentation experience through learning techniques for making sauerkraut, kimchi, mead (honey wine), beer, tonic beverages, and more. Small groups will actively participate in the preparation of each batch of ferment and take home cultures to use.
Fermenting may be the doorway to vibrant health, so come and enjoy an exciting class while building community.
Webster's defines fermentation as "A chemical change with effervescence, as that produced by yeast; any transformation, esp. of organic substances, by the action of ferments, as in the souring of milk, or the formation of sugar from starch."
