Santa Barbara High School is in a prime location to be able to grab a bite for lunch at a ton of downtown cafes and resturants. As a SBHS student, I have been able to observe where to avoid, if you are in a hurry for lunch. SBHS Lunch Hours : 12:08-12:50
As a rule of thumb, you should probably avoid going on Milpas. Underclassmen without transportation seem too swarm on Milpas-and ignore street signals in the process.
Jack's Bagels (Milpas)-No matter what, you will always see high school students in there during lunch. The parking lot is also hideous, and if you don't get there in time, odds are we took your parking place, along with all the Trader Joe's shoppers.
D'Vine (Canon Perdido)-The Julius sandwhich, (turkey, avocado, bacon, mustard) seems to lure SBHS students straight to this deli.
Southcoast (Micheltorena)-This place is always packed, and for a good reason. There sandwiches and salads are delicious! If you want to avoid the packed place, go to South Coast on Canon Perdido.
Here are a few more places that are always packed with high school students!
If you happen to be getting lunch during the SBHS lunch hours, and you can't resist these delicious eateries, call in your order!
