It's Traveling Carnival time again in Santa Barbara

Some years ago I worked with local Santa Barbara photographer Jeff Brouws to add some text to his marvelous abandoned (and other) carnival space photos.
Chronicle Books published this collection as Inside the Live Reptile Tent.
Every summer when the carnival comes to the El Mercado del Norte, I'm reminded of this work.
