Heather Jeno Silva is an art critic and independent curator residing in Santa Barbara, CA. Silva received her Masters of Arts degree in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Southern California and has variety of experience in curatorial work, including the USC Fisher Gallery, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum. Silva’s art criticism has appeared in numerous print and online publications, including various exhibition catalogs, art.blogging.la, RiM Magazine, Sculpture Magazine, the Santa Barbara New Press, and the Pasadena Weekly among others. She is currently a contributing writer to Flavorpill Los Angeles, Sculpture Magazine, Whitehot, and THE Magazine. In addition to her position as Programming Associate for the Arts & Lectures performing arts program at UCSB. Silva also curates the Forum Lounge, a monthly public program at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum that features contemporary performance art, film, and multimedia events.
